Berks TLM This Sunday - June 9th 12:30pm

This Sunday, June 9th, at 12:30pm we’re celebrating our monthly Traditional Latin Mass at St. Mary's in Reading. Below is a link to the propers so you can print them out, but we'll also bring some copies.

Fr. Connolly will be hearing confessions from 11:30 until about 12:15. We'll have a potluck after Mass. If you can bring some food, even something small, it would be greatly appreciated. If you don't normally stay after Mass for the social, I'd like to re-invite you to stop by. It's a great time to meet new and interesting people and grow in Christ.

We'll begin setting up for the social and schola practice at noon. Our rosary before Mass begins at 12:10.

Two outside events that may be of interest to you:

1) Our schola director, James Griffin, invites everyone to attend the installation of his new pastor, Father Samuel Keyes, at the church of Saint John the Baptist in Bridgeport, PA. It will be in the form of a pontifical Mass in the "Anglican Use" celebrated by Bishop Steven Lopes on Saturday, August 5 at 5pm. A special program of sacred music is being planned. 2) All devotees of the traditional Latin Mass are encouraged to make special plans to attend the annual solemn orchestral Mass of the Assumption at the Cathedral Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul, Philadelphia. The Assumption Mass at the Philadelphia Cathedral this year is Tuesday, August 15 at 7pm. Parking is available in the lot next to the church.
